AI Policy
Pulsevia uses artificial intelligence to help you get faster, more personalised wellness insights. This page explains what our AI does, what it does not do, what data it uses and how we keep it under control.
1. Where we use AI
- Voice interview. You speak with an AI agent about your goals, lifestyle and history. The agent proposes a personalised panel.
- Panel selection. An AI model maps your interview to biomarkers from our approved catalogue.
- Result explanations. AI drafts plain-language explanations of what each marker means for you. Explanations are reviewed and templated against clinical ranges.
- Trend narratives. AI generates short summaries of how your markers change over time.
2. Where we do not use AI
- Laboratory analysis of your blood — performed by accredited partner labs using validated assays.
- Medical diagnosis, prescription or treatment decisions — those are made exclusively by licensed physicians during a telemedicine consultation if you book one.
- Automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. You always keep the right to request human review.
3. What data the AI uses
To run the interview and panel selection, the AI receives the information you provide during the conversation, your stated goals and, once available, your biomarker results. Your data is processed under the protections described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not use your personal health data to train third-party foundation models. Our providers are bound by contracts that prohibit using your inputs or outputs for their own model training.
4. Providers we use
- ElevenLabs — voice synthesis and conversational AI.
- Large language model providers — selected model APIs for text reasoning and explanations.
- AWS — secure hosting for application data.
5. Accuracy, limitations and human oversight
AI output can be wrong, outdated or inappropriate for your specific situation. We mitigate this by:
- Constraining panel selection to an approved biomarker catalogue with clinical rationale.
- Templating result explanations against validated reference ranges.
- Providing a licensed physician consultation path for any question that needs medical judgement.
- Logging AI outputs so we can review and improve them.
If something looks off, email [email protected] — we read every report.
6. Your controls
- You can stop the AI interview at any time.
- You can request a human review of any AI-generated explanation.
- You can delete your account and all associated AI conversation data at any time.
7. Changes
We may update this AI Policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice.
